On August 31st, our team headed out to The Quarry for World Partnership Golf Edmonton 2026, and it was a day well spent!
As a Platinum Sponsor, WEM Toyota was proud to sponsor a hole and be on the ground alongside golfers, volunteers, and community partners all swinging for the same goal: raising funds for the Aga Khan Foundation Canada.
World Partnership Golf is Canada’s only national charity golf event. The Aga Khan Foundation Canada (AKFC) runs it each year across seven cities. Since 2000, it has raised over $18 million for development programs in Africa and Asia.
So, where does that money go? Specifically, it funds access to education, health and nutrition programs, economic opportunity, and long-term community investment in Africa and Asia.

The morning kicked off with registration and a continental breakfast. Then, at 8:30 AM sharp, the shotgun start sent everyone onto the course.
Our team had a blast connecting with golfers at our sponsored hole all day. After the round wrapped up, the fun continued with a cocktail reception, silent and live auctions, and dinner.
