Notable Changes from the Previous Year
After a complete overhaul in 2022, only a few changes have been made to the 2024 models. The TRD off-road package is now optional for the platinum grades, and it includes a black grille with a colour-keyed surround, black mirror caps, and window surrounds. You can also choose the Nightshade package for the Limited grade and get a larger 12.3-inch digital instrument display.
Infotainment and Technology Features
The infotainment system is hosted on an 8-inch touchscreen display, which is standard. It supports Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, SiriusXM, remote connection, and the Toyota assistant system. There is also a 12.3-inch alternative option for the digital instrument cluster and touchscreen display.
Exterior Design
A massive front grille and the Toyota logo cover the front fascia with LED headlights on the sides. The optional folding and power extendable tow mirrors will give you a wider towing view for your cargo. Standard models have 18-inch styled steel wheels, while higher trims have optional 18-inch alloys, 20-inch alloys, and 20-inch TRD sport alloys.
Interior Comfort and Cargo Space
The 2024 Tundra offers a spacious and cozy interior. All models feature rear-seat heater ducts, fabric materials, and single-zone climate control. Higher trims offer heated and ventilated seats, a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, and driver-seat memory.
Performance Features
All models are equipped with a 3.5-litre twin turbo V6 engine with a 10-speed direct shift automatic transmission. When properly equipped, it provides 389 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque. The truck’s fuel efficiency is 13.5 L/100km in the city and 10.6 L/100km on the highway.
Safety and Driver Assistance Features
Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 packs enhancements to protect you on challenging terrains. The emergency steering assist stabilizes control to avoid potential collisions. Other features include lane tracing assist, lane departure warning, cruise control, and a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection.
