Your Toyota is built to last and covered by an extensive warranty. But the unexpected can still happen. That’s why Toyota offers Toyota Extra Care Protection (ECP) Service Agreements.


ECP Service Agreements extend Toyota’s factory warrantyǂ with mechanical protection for up to 7 years or 200,000 km*. With a network of 21 Toyota dealerships in Alberta, you can trust that your Toyota will be serviced and repaired by Toyota-trained technicians using genuine Toyota parts.

To keep your vehicle running smoothly, Toyota ECP Service Agreements include maintenance services. Depending on the plan you select, your ECP may cover up to the first three (3) years of the Toyota Maintenance Service Program†.
Maintenance services exclude periodically replaced items, such as engine air filters, air purifiers, wiper blades, belts, hoses, or brake pads. Specific vehicles’ 36-month/48,000 km maintenance includes brake fluid replacement and/or transfer case fluid replacement as outlined in the Toyota Owner’s Manual Supplement. Cabin air filter replacement is included for battery electric vehicles. For complete details, please consult your dealer or the ECP Service Agreement available at your dealership.

In addition to mechanical protection, the Toyota ECP Service Agreements provide additional benefits to your new vehicle roadside assistance. The Trip Interruption Assistance reimburses hotel, meal, and transportation expenses up to $300** if a covered component breaks down more than 300 km from your home.
Upon request, Trip Interruption Assistance also offers a personalized travel planning kit containing maps, route options, points of interest, tourist directories, Toyota dealer listings, and entertainment options along the way.
**Up to $100 per day for 3 days.

In case of an unexpected situation, your ECP Service Agreement ensures you are covered. It’s the very definition of peace of mind while driving.
***Towing to the Toyota dealer of your choice within 50 km, or to the nearest Toyota dealer within 300 km. In the case of accident towing, a second tow will be provided from a collision reporting center if applicable.
††† If you run out of gas, Toyota Extra Care Roadside Assistance will deliver fuel to your vehicle, up to 5 liters at no charge. For battery electric or hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, your vehicle will be towed to the nearest charging or fueling station.
Navigating the changing road conditions and complex layouts of a growing city like Edmonton is simplified with embedded technology. Destination Assist gives you live, human-supported guidance; a live agent can search for points of interest (POIs) and send the route directly to your vehicle’s navigation system, making it easier to find local businesses or alternate routes around construction. Meanwhile, Drive Connect (Cloud Navigation) ensures your navigation is always current by accessing the latest map data, up-to-date traffic information, and POIs stored in the cloud without manual updates.

If your vehicle needs to remain at a Toyota dealership overnight due to a covered component requiring longer than 8 hours to repair, we’ll reimburse you for alternate transportation costs for up to 5 days. If needed parts are on back-order, you can be reimbursed for an additional 5 days.
An ECP Service Agreement also protects your budget against the rising cost of vehicle repairs all while protecting the resale value of your Toyota down the road. In fact, ECP is also fully transferable to a new owner if you choose to sell your Toyota during the term of your plan, adding to the value of your vehicle at the time of sale.

Protect your vehicle from potholes, nails, shattered glass, and other debris on the road. Toyota ECP Tire & Rim Road Hazard Protection plans start from $289, with coverage periods ranging from 1-7 years. Available at participating dealers.
The plan covers eligible and factory recommended original and replacement tires and rims, including summer, winter and all-season tires.
The plan covers expenses (including all parts and labour) involved in repairing or replacing a flat tire or replacing damaged rims (including alloy rims) caused by a valid road hazard*.
