On April 30th, 2026, West Edmonton Mall became the backdrop for one of Edmonton’s most meaningful community events of the year.
As the Presenting Sponsor of Heroes Challenge Edmonton 2026, West Edmonton Mall Toyota had the privilege of supporting Make-A-Wish® Canada in its mission to grant life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses across Northern Alberta.
This year, our team didn’t just cheer from the sidelines. We jumped in and competed alongside some incredible people!

The Heroes Challenge brings together corporate and community teams of 10 for a full day of team-building challenges spread across West Edmonton Mall. Teams test their strength, smarts, and teamwork through activities, all while raising funds for Make-A-Wish® Canada.
Each completed challenge earns points, with the goal of winning the day. But more importantly, each dollar raised helps grant a wish for a child who needs it most.
Together, we raised an incredible $120,931! Those funds go directly toward granting wishes for children facing critical illnesses right here in Northern Alberta.
Every dollar raised brings those children one step closer to an experience that can strengthen their spirit and give their families a moment of pure joy.
We’re proud to have played a role in making that possible.
Even though this year’s event has wrapped up, the mission continues. Over 270 wishes still wait to be granted in Northern Alberta, and every donation helps.
